(Thakurgaon) One of his two brothers who were undergoing treatment for coronavirus in Haripur upazila Hospital of Thakurgaon has returned home healthy. He is 19 years old and a resident of Dangipara village of the upazila.
The matter has been confirmed by Haripur Upazila Residential Medical Officer Dr. Asaduzzaman.
On Friday morning, April 24, he was released from the isolation ward by the health department.
UNO Abdul Karim Sattar, Upazila Health and THA Dr Monirul Haque Khan, Resident Medical Officer Dr Asaduzzaman and others were present during the discharge and discharge of the patient.
Dr. Asaduzzaman, Resident Medical Officer of Haripur Upazila Health Complex, said, “The young man was actually kept in Home Quarantine from Narayanganj on April 7, Haripur and on April 9, samples were collected for corona test and sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
On April 11, his test results were positive. In fact, he was admitted to the Corona Isolation Ward of Haripur Upazila Health Complex at 4:00 pm that day and was treated.
On April 17, his second sample was collected and sent to Rangpur. On April 21, he was discharged from the hospital at 10 am (24/04/2020) as the result was negative and he was found to be physically healthy.
The patient will be in home quarantine for the next 14 days.
Note that his brother’s second sample (18/04/2020) came positive and he is being treated in the isolation ward of the hospital. “
